Our Story
Bobcaygeon, ON - 2011
Kelly's Glen Golf Learning Centre began in the backyard of the Kelly family home. After 8 seasons at Kawartha Golf & CC in Peterborough, Shana no longer wished to spend summers away from Nyah & Landon. Four hydro poles, 3000 square feet of netting, four mats & some grass led to fun-filled days of private lessons and junior programs.
Junior on-course sessions were hosted at Dunsford Golf Club.
Lindsay Golf & CC - 2015
A new opportunity arose when Lindsay Golf & CC began looking for a new Teaching Professional. Shana was already teaching & coaching a number of members from the club and they recommended her for the position. Along with private instruction and junior programs came the addition of Lindsay's Junior Golf Camp and the City of Kawartha Lakes Parks & Rec camps. Nyah & Landon were growing up, golfing more,
and wanting an 18-hole golf course to play. It was the perfect fit.
St. David Street Golf Studio - 2019
After three years and many round trips between Bobcaygeon & Lindsay, the Kelly's decided it was time to move to Lindsay. It was bittersweet to leave extended family and the place it all began, but being closer to the golf course made sense. After a year of searching, the dream of finding the perfect space to build an indoor studio was realized and construction began in the fall of 2018. The first indoor lessons began in February 2019.
